Sholeh Janati is a prolific and accomplished abstract artist, with a personality as unique as her paintings.
A lively contemporary herself, her expressions evolve from her worldly background, her passionate positive spirit, and true appreciation for life where they are authentically expressed in both vibrant colors as well as muted pastels. One can view Sholeh’s art and see how generously available it can be seen within each vibrant shape of her brushstroke.
Her ability to extoll the grandness of a seascape or the pleasure of a simple goldfish never disappoint. Her art is also imminently scalable – running the gamut from large scale to diminutive pieces.
Her paintings are whimsical, bold, vibrant pronouncements. Sholeh gives her own voice to every canvas.
By her own strategic design, she conceives a painting to be rotated, or even turned upside down to allow the image to reflect the light and the viewer a continuous interaction with the vision and form. Many of Sholeh’s collectors describe her work to their own delight an expression of their own artistic vision.
Her most recent works have been purchased or displayed at the USTA Presidential Suite at the 2016 US Open, Yale New Haven Medical Center Permanent Collection, Sacred Heart University and the Stamford Mayor’s Gallery in November 2016. Sholeh is also working with the acclaimed designer Taylor Spellman – who is currently the co-star of the new Bravo show Yours, Mine or Ours.
Sholeh has studios in Stamford and Westport. She is available on a limited basis for commissioned works for private collectors, corporate collections and interior designers.
