Christopher Breining is a Long Island native who has recently relocated to
Fairfield County. A self-taught artist who specializes in representational imagery,
Chris works principally in two mediums: pen and ink and watercolor. A large

For more than four decades, Christopher has participated in a number of juried
shows, and his work has been showcased in one-person exhibits and galleries
throughout the tri-state area, including the Agora Gallery in New York’s Chelsea
community. He has won several awards, including the Catherine Lorillard Award
from the Ridgewood Art Institute Show in Ridgewood, New Jersey and two
Awards of Excellence from the Suburban Art League, Long Island, New York.
With an eclectic collection of styles, techniques, colors, and subjects, Christopher
