Nancy Breakstone is an award-winning photographer living in Westport, Connecticut. She was gifted a Kodak Brownie camera in 1961 and through the lens she started seeing an entirely new world. Nancy has spent the majority of her life on the water, as a former competitor in windsurfing, sailing and stand up paddleboarding. Her love of the beach and the ocean is shown through her photographs, some of which are of sea glass that she has collected over 50 years of walking different beaches around the world, and pieces of dead coral collected from the shores of beaches in the Caribbean where she wanted to bring attention to, and start a conversation about, the plight of ocean coral reefs.
