Born in Romania and raised in New York City, Luiza received formal training at the city’s most prestigious art schools, pairing contemporary conceptualism with a technique-oriented classical arts education typical of Eastern Europe. She has enjoyed a long career spanning fine art, curating, marketing and illustration and currently resides in Ridgefield where she organized the Art on Main program prior to the pandemic. Luiza has exhibited in galleries both in NYC and Ridgefield, where she has found a thriving artistic community. She is currently an art advisor and guest curator for Rafael Gallery on Madison Ave, NYC. She is also a founding member of the Romanian Artists Connection of Connecticut.
