Drawing is Susan Pfeifer Scala’s life and she lives it with verve and versatility. Her pictures are endlessly varied–she’s painted everything from racing cars to abstractions, landscapes, murals and portraits. One thing all of her work has in common: an impressive talent full of freshness and creative vigor.After high school, she enrolled at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, determined to develop her skills even further. There, she studied oil painting, portraits, graphics, woodcutting and more. It was here that Susan first started teaching, a passion she continues to engage in throughout her artistic career in Pennsylvania, CT and around the world.
