Lisa is a native Darienite. She graduated from Parsons School of Design to become an Art Director at Travel & Leisure Magazine. Her career expanded into advertising, design, and creating art. Lisa’s style is graphic and she enjoys working in all mediums. Her mixed media pieces in the recent Darien Nature show, Down on The Farm, and here at CCNS reveal whimsical surprises with her approach to simplify, subtract and edit constantly.
Plein Air painting in New England and drawing in her sketchbook wherever she travels, helps Lisa record something fresh because it is captured in a moment.
Lisa is a Silvermine Guild member and was president of the Darien Arts Center. Her award-winning art has been shown in exhibits such as Art of the NorthEast, Parsons Alumni Shows, Stanford University Medical Center in Palo Alto, CA and many Fairfield County galleries and fundraisers. The murals in the Darien Nature Center’s classrooms Lisa painted in 2001, with the Holly Pond Painters.
